Jason Castle

Jason Castle, founder of CastleType, has pursued many passions over the years: performing Medieval music and doing calligraphy and illuminating in his twenties, computer programming in his thirties, digital type design in his forties, returning to school in his fifties to get his masters in counseling psychology and even interning as a psychotherapist for a few years. But, after all his meandering, Jason finally realized what he wants to be when he grows up and has returned full-time to his first and truest love: type design. It is Jason's hope to share his delight in type design with others through this blog.
